Big, irregular pearls against honey-brown stone and tiny 3mm seed pearls. Cream, gold and warm brown — autumn colours, all-year length.

Gilded Baroque — one necklace only Strung entirely from gold-and-white gilded baroque pearls, echoing the tiger's eye all the way around. I have enough matched gilded pearls for a single necklace. When it sells, this option is gone for good.

Pure White Aurora Baroque — made to order Every baroque pearl in bright white with strong aurora overtones. Cool, luminous, classic against the warm tiger's eye.

✦ BUILT TO LAST

Strung on Japanese-imported coated steel wire rather than nylon thread. It stays supple and drapes like thread, but it won't stretch or fray the way ordinary beading cord does under the weight of 22–25mm pearls. On a necklace this substantial, that's the difference between an heirloom and a repair job.

The clasp is 18K gold plated over eco-friendly brass — lead-free and nickel-free, so it's friendly to sensitive skin.

✦ WHY THE TOGGLE CLASP

The OT toggle isn't just decorative. Unhook it and you can link this necklace to a matching bracelet (or a second chain) to build a much longer rope — great for doubling over a turtleneck or wearing waist-length over a coat. It also makes it easy to put on one-handed, with no fiddly lobster clasp behind your neck.

✦ STYLING

The brown-and-cream palette was chosen with autumn in mind and sits beautifully against knitwear, camel coats, chocolate brown, cream and charcoal. But it's just as good with a white shirt and jeans, or worn as a single bold piece over a black dress. Layer it with a shorter chain for depth, or let it stand alone.

If you know the style as a sweater chain, this is that — just not only that.

✦ CARE

Pearls are soft and porous. Put your necklace on last, after perfume, hairspray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep it away from water, alcohol, and household cleaners, and store it flat — not hanging — in the pouch provided.

Baroque pearls are natural and irregular. Small surface marks, ridges, and variations in shape, size and overtone are characteristic of real pearls, not flaws. Because the White Aurora version is made to order from hand-picked pearls, the one you receive will be very close to the photos but not an exact duplicate.
