About this piece

Big, irregular pearls against honey-brown stone, 3mm seed pearls, and a few brushed gold accent beads at the clasp. Cream, gold and warm brown — autumn colours, all-year wear.

Each bracelet is strung to order, so pick the fit rather than guessing:

16 cm / 6.3 in — petite wrist, snug fit
17 cm / 6.7 in — standard, sits close
18 cm / 7.1 in — standard, slight movement
19 cm / 7.5 in — relaxed, drapes on the wrist
20 cm / 7.9 in — generous / larger wrist

How to measure: wrap a strip of paper or a tape measure snugly around your wrist bone, then add about 1.5–2 cm for comfortable movement. With pearls this large, a slightly looser fit sits better than a tight one.

✦ WEARS WITH THE NECKLACE

This bracelet is part of the same series as my baroque pearl and tiger's eye necklace, cut from the same pearls and stones. Both use the same OT toggle, so you can unhook them and link the two into one extra-long rope necklace — long enough to double over a turtleneck or wear waist-length over a coat.

✦ BUILT TO LAST

Strung on Japanese-imported coated steel wire rather than nylon thread. It stays supple and moves with your wrist, but it won't stretch or fray the way ordinary beading cord does under the weight of 22–25mm pearls. Bracelets take far more knocks than necklaces, so this matters even more here.

The clasp is 18K gold plated over eco-friendly brass — lead-free and nickel-free, so it's friendly to sensitive skin.

✦ WHY THE TOGGLE CLASP

A toggle is the easiest clasp to fasten one-handed, which is exactly what you want on a bracelet. Drop the bar through the ring and it's on. It also sits flat against the wrist instead of digging in.

✦ CARE

Pearls are soft and porous. Put your bracelet on last, after perfume, hairspray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Remove it before washing your hands, swimming, or using hand sanitiser, and store it flat in the pouch provided.

Baroque pearls are natural and irregular. Small surface marks, ridges, and variations in shape, size and overtone are characteristic of real pearls, not flaws. Because each bracelet is made to order from hand-picked pearls, the one you receive will be very close to the photos but not an exact duplicate.

Packaging and care

Your jewelry arrives in a protective gift box. Keep pearls away from perfume, lotion, water, and jewelry cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store separately.
